A venue with room to grow

Soaring 330 metres over the city, the Ryugyong is the tallest building in the country and one of the most famous unopened hotels on Earth. Construction started in 1987, paused in 1992, and the glass went on in 2011. We are now waiting for the rest.

We are proud to be the first event ever held inside the Ryugyong, pending the arrival of an inside. Until then, programming will take place on the outside, which is magnificent.

Where to stay

The hotel block

Since the venue has no rooms yet, our hotel block is at an international hotel on an island in the middle of the Taedong River. It is ideal for guests who enjoy a hotel that is quiet, scenic and very, very hard to wander away from.

Every room has a river view, a television with three channels and a minibar stocked with one bottle of something and a note saying you are welcome.
