The spectacles

Big, bigger, mandatory

The Mass Fursuit Games

Forty thousand fursuiters in perfect formation, while thirty thousand more in the stands hold up coloured cards to form a single, enormous picture of a cat.

Rehearsals begin eleven months before the con. Attendance at rehearsals is, technically, optional.

Grand Fursuit Parade

The traditional fursuit walk, across the Square and past the reviewing stand. The judges score each walk out of ten.

Everyone gets a ten. The walks are also scored for enthusiasm. Everyone gets a ten for that as well.

The Masquerade

Our costume contest, judged by a panel of three who have agreed on the winner in advance, in the interests of efficiency.

Entries are judged on craftsmanship, presentation, and how clearly the costume expresses the correct feelings.

People's Artist Alley

Two hundred tables of artists taking commissions. Accepted subjects are foxes, wolves, the glorious harvest, and foxes at the glorious harvest.

Plushies, pins, tail keychains and badge lanyards. Prices are fixed. Everything is fixed. We accept won, euros and sincere compliments about the venue.

Quick Sketch Corner

Get your fursona drawn in five minutes. The artist will draw it in the approved style, which is heroic, three-quarter view, gazing towards the future.

Nightlife, within reason

The Juche Rave

Lasers, bass, and a DJ who was assigned the job. Glowsticks are issued at the door, collected at the door, and counted.

Approved Music Video Contest

The traditional AMV contest, now with an A that stands for Approved. Entries must use one of the four approved songs. Three of them are the same song.

Karaoke Night

Sing your heart out from the approved songbook. Page one is the anthem. Page two is the anthem in a different key. Page three is a blank page, for reflection.

Places to rest your paws

A bowl of cold buckwheat noodles in broth topped with sliced meat, egg and pear.

The Paw Cafe

Every good con has a themed cafe. Ours is staffed entirely by fursuiters and serves Pyongyang cold noodles, which are also cold at other times of year.

Headless Lounge

A quiet, air-conditioned room where fursuiters can take their heads off. The word "headless" was cleared by three separate committees before this sign went up.
