Every year the fluffiest citizens of the world gather in Pyongyang for three days of fursuits, art, dancing and scheduled spontaneity. Attendance was 100% last year. It was 100% the year before that. We are confident about next year.

Whether you are a first-time fox, a veteran wolf or a dragon who has been told to stop mentioning that they are a dragon, there is a place for you at Pawngyang Furthon. Your place has been assigned. It is a very good place.

This year's venue

The Ryugyong Hotel

A 105-storey pyramid on the skyline, 3,000 rooms, and a grand opening that has been imminent since 1987. We are proud to be the first event ever held inside it, pending the arrival of an inside.

The lifts are not yet installed, which makes the Ryugyong the only convention venue in the world where "taking the stairs to the dealers' den on floor 94" is part of the fitness programme.
