The convention's policy

What we collect

1. Information we collect. Your name, your fursona's name, your fursona's reference sheet, your fursona's hopes and dreams, and a list of everyone who has ever told you your fursona was cute. For verification.

2. How we use it. We use your information to admire it. Occasionally we read it aloud at committee meetings, in a warm and supportive tone.

3. Sharing. We never share your data with third parties. There are no third parties. There are barely second parties.

4. Cookies. The only cookies at the convention are served at the Paw Cafe, and they are rationed at one per attendee per day. See below for the internet kind.

5. Retention. Forever, plus a bit.

6. Your rights. You have the right to be satisfied with this policy. You are exercising that right now.

7. Changes. This policy may change at any time. When it changes, it will always have said the new thing.

Not a joke

The actual privacy policy

Pawngyang Furthon is a parody website. It has no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no analytics, no advertising and no social media widgets. It does not ask for, collect, sell or share personal information.

Like any web server, the host keeps standard access logs - the IP address, time, page requested and browser details of each request - for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to identify or profile visitors.

The site sets one strictly necessary security cookie that its web framework uses to protect against cross-site request forgery. It holds a random value, contains no personal information, and is not used for tracking.

Every image, font and script on this site is served from the site itself, so no third-party service is contacted when you visit. Links to other sites, such as Wikimedia Commons, Pexels or Creative Commons, only take you there if you click them, and their own privacy policies apply once you do.
